KPA EtherCAT Studio 2.1

KPA EtherCAT Studio is a Windows-based environment for configuring, commissioning, and diagnosing EtherCAT networks. It helps engineers build reliable motion-control and I/O systems by simplifying device setup, network visualization, and online troubleshooting. You can create projects, import EtherCAT slave descriptions (ESI), arrange and parameterize slaves, define PDO mappings, and prepare master-ready configurations. During commissioning, the tool can scan and display the live topology, read device information, monitor states and process data, and record diagnostics to speed up root-cause analysis. It supports both offline planning and online interaction, making it useful for machine builders, OEMs, and test and automation teams.
